The Indian ‘charpoi’ inspired the design and philosophy of our bespoke ‘Chaipoi’ bench. Made from upcycled, naturally seasoned teak and with a woven rope body, the Chaipoi bench is a contemporary update on the iconic Indian daybed. The addition of cup-rests on the side inspired the name, a portmanteau of ‘chai’ and ‘charpoi’.
