This cushion has been handwoven by women artisans in the North-eastern state of Nagaland, home to several indigenous tribal groups with rich craft traditions. Weaving has also become a source of livelihood for the women, with a growing interest in the textural, short-width Naga weaves that translates beautifully to textiles for the home. EVOKE works with an all-women run cooperative to produce this series of textiles from Nagaland.
