MINIATURE BIDRI VASE
Origin: BIDAR, INDIA
Materials: Bidriware - handcast alloy of copper and zinc, finished with a layer of clay indigenous to Bidar.
Description:

These delightfully small bidriware vases are made to be enjoyed as collectible treasures. The bidri techniques here leave out the decorative silver inlay work, letting the rich black patina of the treated zinc-copper alloy shine through. These miniature vases come in 9 distinct shapes inspired by Japanese Bizen ware, available to purchase as a single piece or in a set. Care Guide: Bidri is a delicate surface that easily patinas. Keep away from moisture and wipe your piece regularly with a soft cloth and coconut oil to retain the shine.
