MINIATURE BIDRI VASE
Origin: BIDAR, INDIA
Materials: Bidriware - handcast alloy of copper and zinc, finished with a layer of clay indigenous to Bidar.
Description:

These delightfully small bidriware vases are made to be enjoyed as collectible treasures. The bidri techniques here leave out the decorative silver inlay work, letting the rich black patina of the treated zinc-copper alloy shine through. These miniature vases come in 9 distinct shapes inspired by Japanese Bizen ware, available to purchase as a single piece or in a set.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To maintain Bidriware, gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and preserve its shine. Avoid using harsh chemicals, soaps, salts, or acids. Coconut oil may be used occasionally to retain the product’s luster.
