More recently, hand-beaded and decorated shields such as these have become ornmental pieces, used in ritual ceremonies for their symbolism. Our collection of shields are crafted by artisans in Cameroon, carved from indigenous hardwood and decorated with thousands of glass beads and cowrie shells.
